No. Alera's cut is $0. The deposits your clients pay land in your Stripe account, not ours. Stripe pays you out on the same schedule you'd get if you connected Stripe to anything else.

Yes. Clients pick a service, pick a slot, drop a phone number, and confirm. No account, no app install, no friction.
Set your own cancellation window per service. If a client cancels late, the deposit policy you defined kicks in automatically. Refund-eligible cancellations refund instantly to the original card.
Yes. Email reminders fire 24 hours and 2 hours before every booking, plus a thank-you the morning after. SMS is rolling out gradually as carrier registration completes; it lights up on your account automatically when approved.
